Raynor Shima


Raynor Shima is a Vancouver-based producer and creator. After building a foundation in commercial film, he quickly went on to become one of the industry’s most sought-after independent producers. He co-founded award-winning production company Luchagore Productions which specializes in story-driven horror content.

Raynor’s films have screened all over the world.  From Sitges to Fantastic Fest they have won numerous awards and been recognized for their unique, provocative, Latino-influenced style. In 2017 Raynor collaborated with Warner Brothers and Stage13 to produce a 7-episode miniseries called "La Quinceañera"; a coming-of-age revenge story. Raynor has worked with Blumhouse and Amazon in developing and executive producing "Bingo", an a feature installment of the "Welcome to the Blumhouse" anthology series. He is currently producing a new horror anthology called "Satanic Hispanics" in Mexico City for Epic Pictures and Dread Central, as well as the newly announced series “VHS85” with Shudder slated for late 2023.
